All funds raised through the competition go directly to helping Veterans engage in the therapeutic activity of fishing\, to foster mental well-being\, be part of the camaraderie\, and to assist their healing. \nThe Veterans For Fishing Tour of Lake Eildon is one of the growing annual angling competitions operating from the foreshore of Australia’s Premier Native and Trout Fishery\, being Lake Eildon. Lake Eildon boasts over 500 kilometres of foreshore\, contains 6 times the water volume of Sydney Harbour\, is only a short 1.5- hour drive from Melbourne\, has a growing national and international angling visitor base due to the efforts of the Victorian State Government’s Target 1 Million and the Victorian Fisheries Authority Fish Stocking Program. The area is also growing in popularity due to Four-Wheel Driving\, Houseboating\, Trail Bike Riding\, Prospecting\, Wakeboarding\, Wake Surfing\, Water Skiing\, and Sightseeing. \nThe Veterans For Fishing Tour Of Lake Eildon is an annual Charity Event with proceeds going directly to help Veterans in need.
